Meghann Cheney, LMFTA, PMH-C

Welcome! I am the owner and psychotherapist here at Empowered Pathways Counseling, and I look forward to getting to know you and potentially working together.

I am an avid adventurer (all things outdoors!) and traveler, book reader, trier of new things (which often means failing at a fair share of them!), wife, and mother of 4 amazing little humans.

Working Together

My clinical focus is on offering couples, individuals, and families evidence-based care in a strength-focused and compassionate space. As we work together, we will focus on meeting your goals, processing emotions, and building tools for resiliency and healing. I believe therapy should be collaborative, transparent, and rooted in human kindness.

Through my own experiences in life and personal therapy journey, I have learned that the only way out is through…healing comes as we equip ourselves to meet ourselves fully. My counseling is multicultural, trauma-informed, and takes a systemically focused “Birdseye view” of problem orientation and solutions. I tailor my approaches and interventions to meet your specific needs, and keep you part of the process every step of the way.

In addition to my work as a therapist, I also enjoy collaborating in various mental health related services, such as presenting seminars, conducting workshops, advocacy, and offering psychoeducational services.
